Jypsy One Fullerton

Visited this place and was blown away by the excellent view and charming atmosphere. The decoration is top-notch, creating a truly delightful ambiance. The staff took our reservation efficiently, showcasing professionalism and attentiveness. A highlight of our experience was trying their 'Nest of Fries.' These crispy fries were an absolute delight, and I highly recommend giving them a try. The combination of the fantastic view, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food made our visit truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond by being attentive to our needs, ensuring our water glasses were always filled. Their helpful and friendly service added to the overall positive experience. In summary, this place not only offers a wonderful setting but also impresses with its culinary delights and excellent service. I am definitely looking forward to coming back again for another delightful dining experience!

Last night i celebrated my birthday at Jypsy with my girlfriends and we had a great outing. we ordered like 10 different dishes and repeated one of the sushi roll. Starting with spicy lobster roll and Jypsy Cali roll (which we repeated). The taste was refreshing the spiciness in the lobster roll springs a little surprise. After which we had the King prawn & unagi aglio olio. Taste was just right and it became the favorite of 2 of the ladies. The subsequently dishes were served swiftly and in a moment the table was filled! We had Taka's hot wings, Tiger prawn 7 crab gyoza, Nest of fries (this is really special as it does not come in the normal form of fries we know). Also on the table are Jypsy fish and chips which I still have no idea what kind of fish they use but it was light in taste and fried to the right degree. We also had Ika pizza which comes with a dipping spicy sauce, Edamame tempura (like a beer snack), crispy calamari and Little Jypsy burgers. YES! That is how much food the 7 of us ate! The restaurant has a very nice ambience and its a great place to be chilling out with friends or colleagues or family. We were seated indoors but I see that the outdoor seating is also cozy and with the light rain last night it must have been comfortable to be seated there, with the lighted MBS as backdrop. I shall be back with my family the next time and to try some dessert next :)

The atmosphere was good, offering a pleasant view of MBS without being too warm. The food, including the crispy and well-prepared chicken karaage, received positive feedback. However, the service left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the unmanned counter posed an issue, and once seated, the staff's attentiveness fell short. Even the small bag chair was something we had to locate and bring to our table ourselves. The overall quality of service seemed below the expected standard for Jypsy.
